VBA holds education sessions for small business owners

Ventnor Business Association Education Series

VENTNOR Local business owners can stay on top of their game by attending the Ventnor Business Association Education Series events, which are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the Atlantic County Library/Ventnor, 6500 Atlantic Ave.

On Jan. 8, business owners can learn how to use Google and Microsoft to build successful relationshiops with customers. The program covers using G Suite and Office 365 basics, which will help you chose an operating system that works best for you.

On Feb. 26, the group will focus on last minute details in planning for the summer season. A panel of business owners who have been operating in the Downbeach area for years will share how they plan their summer and the lessons they've learned about marketing and operating in a seasonal market.

On March 12, the focus is on hiring. A panel of experts will share information about building a strong job ad, how to broadcast online, leveraging social media, recruiting and interviewing with fairness and parity and how to successfully provide onboarding and training.

The Ventnor Business Association was created in 2018 to improve the business climate in in Ventnor. It works to support local business with innovative events, cooperative marketing strategies and networking opportunities.
