The Downbeach communities of Longport and Margate will hold 9-11 remembrance ceremonies Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Longport American Legion Post 469 will hold a service honoring first responders 9 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas B. Reed Park, located at the foot of the Longport bridge.
The Margate City Fire Department will holds its service at 10 a.m. at Fire Station No. 1, 1 S. Washington Ave.
The public is invited to attend both events to remember those killed in the attacks on America in 2001 that took place on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and in Shanksville, Pa.
