Teen Arts Festival to be held in the Hammonton Arts District this year

HAMMONTON The Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs will be hosting its annual Teen Arts Festival in the Hammonton Arts District 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 3.

The event showcases the visual, literary and performing art talents of local area high school students and is being conducted in collaboration with Stockton University, the Noyes Museum of Art, Hammonton Arts Center, MainStreet Hammonton and The Eagle Theater.

The Atlantic County Teen Arts Festival is part of a statewide multidisciplinary program in the fine and performing arts. It has been available to young people in Atlantic County in varying formats since 1969. Open to any student in public or private school, as well as home-schooled students and those who are involved in extra-curricular private instruction, the program encompasses activities in dance, theater, vocal music, instrumental music, film, photography, creative writing and the visual arts.
