Join Together Atlantic County
Join Together Atlantic County, a countywide substance misuse prevention coalition, will be hosting a free TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) class noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Mays Landing Library, 40 Farragut Ave. in Mays Landing. The training program is for anyone who serves alcohol at restaurants, bars, hotels or other establishments.
TIPS is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale and consumption of alcohol. Proven effective by third party studies, TIPS is a skills-based training program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking and drunk driving.
Participation in this training will support Join Together Atlantic County in its mission to prevent, reduce and/or delay substance use among youth of Atlantic County.
