As of this morning, April 8, 17 more Atlantic County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, according to public health officials, bringing the countywide total to 173 cases. No deaths were reported today.
Today's confirmations include seven men, ages 31-86 and 10 women, ages 29-82.
It was also reported that seven additional residents are now cleared as recovered for a total of 26 residents to date.
Several Atlantic County Freeholders posted a breakdown for municipalities on their Facebook pages.
As of Tuesday, April 7, the breakdown by municipality was:

Atlantic City - 2 and 1 death
Buena - 1
Egg Harbor City - 1
Egg Harbor Township - 4 and 2 deaths
Galloway - 2
Hamilton - 1
Linwood - 1
Northfield - 1
