Atlantic County Health Department announced four additional deaths Wednesday, Dec. 16 in a 91-year-old Linwood woman from a long-term care facility and three men - a 49-year-old from Hamilton Township, a 72-year-old from Galloway and an 80-year-old from Somers Point. All four residents had pre-existing health conditions. Two deaths were reported on Tuesday.
The county also reported a one-day total of 235 COVID-19 positives in 114 males, ages 1-88, and 121 females, aged 2-86, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 12,156, with 318 deaths and 5,184 reported as recovered.
Covid-19 drive-thru testing continues each Tuesday in December, 9-11:30 a.m., by appointment, for county residents behind the county's Public Works yard at 617 Dolphin Ave.in Northfield. If available, appointments can be made online at https://www.atlantic-county.org/covid/
