A 75-year-old Longport man with pre-existing health conditions died Friday from COVID-19. His death was the 12th fatality this week in Atlantic County. Seven deaths were reported on Thursday and four on Wednesday.
The Atlantic County Health Department also reported 137 new positives in 65 males, ages 4 months to 48, and 72 females, ages 1 month to 99.

The county continues to provide COVID-19 drive-thru test 9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday in December, by appointment for county residents at the Public Works yard at 617 Dolphin Ave. in Northfield. If available, appointments can be made online at: https://www.atlantic-county.org/covid/
