On Saturday, July 25, Atlantic County public health officials reported no new deaths  and 45 more residents who have been cleared as recovered from COVID-19.

There were, however, 28 more residents who tested positive, including 11 males, ages 5 months to 64 years, and 17 females, ages 7 months to 63 years. These cases were confirmed as follows: eight in Egg Harbor Township, six in Pleasantville, four in Atlantic City, three in Buena Borough, and two in Galloway Township. One new case was confirmed in Absecon, Hamilton Township, Linwood, Margate and Ventnor.

Today's cases bring the countywide total to 3,362 residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, of whom 1,911 have been cleared as recovered and 229 have died.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, July 28 at its drive-thru facility in Northfield at Rt. 9 and Dolphin Avenue, behind the county public works yard. The test site is now available for both symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents with or without a doctor's prescription. Residents must make an appointment for testing and provide proof of county residency and appointment confirmation.

If available, appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org. Those who are unable to keep their appointments are asked to cancel no less than 24 hours in advance so others may have an opportunity to fill those spots.
