Atlantic County Surrogate's Office now open for business

Atlantic County Surrogate James Curcio is seeking re-election in 2020.

ATLANTIC CITY - The Atlantic County Surrogate's Office in the Civil Courthouse in Atlantic City is once again open for business, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

While the public cannot physically enter the office, customers may call 609-343-2341 to speak with staff. A secure drop box is also available in the courthouse lobby where customers may submit documents, but they should call before doing so to alert staff.

"The Surrogate's Office remains dedicated to addressing the needs of our residents during these challenging times, Curcio said. We are available to assist them with probate, guardianship, adoption or any other matters within our jurisdiction.

For offshore customers, the Surrogate s Office at 5911 Main St. in Mays Landing is also available by calling 609-645-5800 and by email and U.S. Mail.  Documents  may also be submitted through its secure drop box.
