On Friday, June 19, Atlantic County health officials reported no new deaths related to COVID-19 and 43 additional residents who tested positive for the disease, including 24 males, ages 15-70, and 19 females, ages 17-69.
Officials also noted there were another 43 residents who have been cleared as recovered for a countywide total of 1,373, more than half of the 2,685 county residents who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 throughout the pandemic.
Twenty-six of those confirmed today are from Hammonton, five are from Egg Harbor Township, three each are from Atlantic City and Galloway Township, while two are from Pleasantville. Absecon, Buena Vista Township, Somers Point and Ventnor each have one additional resident confirmed positive.
Atlantic County has tested 2,068 residents with symptoms for COVID-19 since April 9, of which, nearly 76% have tested negative.
Atlantic County will continue to provide testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor's prescription 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23 in Northfield behind the public works yard at Rt. 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.
