Margate FMBA Local 41 presented its annual O'Hara-McCormick Memorial Scholarships at the Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday, June 18. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the scholarships will be mailed to the nine local high school graduates, who each received $500 to use for college.
The scholarships were awarded based on the students' hard work and dedication to their school and community.
O'Hara-McCormick scholars are:
Jaden Millstein Ocean City High School, who will be attending Vassar College
Molly Reardon Ocean City High School, who will be attending Salisbury University
Theodore Grimley Ocean City High School, who will be attending New Jersey Institute Technology
Morgan Pizagno Ocean City High School, who will be attending Florida Atlantic University
Alexandra Fader Atlantic City High School, who will be attending University of Pennsylvania
Claudia Scherbin Ocean City High School, who will be attending Clemson University
Chase Davis St Augustine Prep, who will be attending St. Joeseph University
Mara Lachance-Beck Mainland Regional High School, who will be attending University of Massachusetts
Connor Culmone Atlantic City High School, who will be attending Villanova University
