The American Red Cross is having a blood drive noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at Quaremba Hall at St. Michael Church, 10 N. Mississippi Ave. in Atlantic City.
Giving blood saves lives of patients who are victims of accidents, undergoing surgeries, donating organs to other patients in need or are battling cancer. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
