Workers volunteer to distribute food.
ATLANTIC CITY - A holiday food distribution will be held beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at Bader Field for unemployed casino and hospitality industry workers.
The food distribution is a public-private partnership between state and local governments, casino
industry, and union representatives, which includes Local 54 providing boots-on-the-
ground coordination with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, and the
AFL-CIO NJ providing both financial and volunteer support.
Distribution will be drive-up only and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
