Atlantic County Public Health has reported a second death in two days, this time in a 65-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township who had underlying health conditions.
It also reported 71 new COVID-19 cases among 28 males, ages, 6-88, and 43 females, ages 1-71.
Today's death brings the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the county to 259. To date, the coundy has reported 5,801 confirmed cases, with 3,295 people recovered.

Atlantic County continues to provide COVID-19 testing by appointment for county residents behind the county's Public Works yard at 617 Dolphin Ave. in Northfield. Testing will be held 9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday through Nov. 24, with the exception of Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, when testing will instead be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
