Vagabike Scholarship applications are due Sept. 15.
ATLANTIC CITY - Graduates of Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township high schools have until Sept. 15 to apply for six $1,000 college scholarships for undergraduate studies in the fall semester.
Scholarships will be awarded 10:30 a.m. Oct. 10 during opening ceremonies of Vagabike, the Vagabond Charities, Inc. fundraiser that provides funding for the scholarships and supports local home teams.
After taking it virtual last year, Vagabond Charities, Inc. will present its 9th annual Vagabike fundraiser Oct. 10. The bike ride for 250 participants take riders on a leisurely ride on the Atlantic City boardwalk with stops at local bars and restaurants along the way.
The scholarship committee will consider volunteerism and work experience along with academic performance.
