Access to veterans' resources available during Atlantic City Airshow

Veterans Resource Row will be held on the Boardwalk, Wednesday, Aug. 18 during the airshow.

ATLANTIC CITY - The Greater Atlantic City Chamber and Ocean Casino Resort will host more than a dozen veteran resource organizations 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Atlantic City Airshow A Salute to Those Who Serve."

Veterans Resource Row attendees can meet with representatives of organizations, government agencies and nonprofits to discuss services, support and jobs. Resource Row will be held on the Boardwalk between Bellevue and Florida avenues.

More than 1,500 veterans visited the service providers area on the Boardwalk during the 2019 Atlantic City Airshow, said Bob Looby, chairman of the Employment, Homeless, and Education Committee of the American Legion. The tri-state area veterans we engaged with were incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to meet with these various organizations and we were able to connect them with their home states agencies.
