Margate woman named partner at Cooper Levenson law firm

ATLANTIC CITY Cooper Levenson law firm recently announced that two attorneys have been named partners at the law firm. Jennifer B. Barr of Margate and Brittany A. Bonetti of Haddonfield will partner in the firm's Cherry Hill and Atlantic City offices.

These individuals have proven themselves in terms of their professionalism, their expertise, and their dedication. We are very pleased to welcome Jennifer and Brittany as partners, CEO Lloyd D. Levenson said.

Barr, who is based in the Atlantic City office, leads the firm's Appeals and Research practice group. She has more than 20 years of experience in civil and criminal appeals. Before joining Cooper Levenson in 2017, Barr was a solo practitioner in the areas of civil appeals, criminal appeals, post-conviction relief appeals, and termination of parents' rights appeals. She served as a judicial clerk in the Appellate Division for The Honorable Steven Z. Kleiner during the 1998-1999 term.

Barr graduated from Rutgers Law School Newark and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District Court of New Jersey.

Barr serves on the Board of Trustees of the Bay Atlantic Symphony, is a mentor for the Stockton University Women's Leadership Counsel and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Margate Community Church.

Brittany A. Bonetti

Bonetti, of Haddonfield, is based in Cherry Hill and is a member of the firm's Healthcare, Cannabis, and Tax Law practice groups. Bonetti assists hospitals and health systems, medical staffs, individual physicians and physician groups in business and regulatory legal matters of all types, including HIPAA and HITECH compliance. Her background includes preparation and negotiation of a variety of healthmrelated agreements, including business associate, physician/mid-level employment and shareholders agreements; advice regarding Stark, Fraud and Abuse, Anti-Kickback and state regulatory concerns related to specific arrangements; and preparation of medical staff bylaws. Bonetti is a sought-after speaker on New Jersey medical marijuana and cannabis law.

Bonetti earned her undergraduate degree from George Washington University and holds a master's degree in public health from the Rutgers School of Public Health. She graduated with a juris doctor from the Rutgers School of Law Camden. Bonetti, who works from the firm's Atlantic City and Cherry Hill offices, is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

She was named to the 2021 New Jersey Super Lawyers list as a Rising Star. She was also named by SJ Magazine as a 2021 Top Attorney in Healthcare Law.
