VENTNOR - Primary residents interested in serving the community as a member of the Board of Education are encouraged to submit a resume or biographical information to the city.
The vacancy is a result of the recent passing of school board member Joseph J. McDevitt.
A letter expressing interest can be sent via email to City Clerk Lisa Hand at lhand@ventnorcity.org. The city requests putting Ventnor Board of Education in the subject line.
Those submitting a request for consideration must be primary residents of the city.
Ventnor City is a Type I school district whose board members are appointed by the mayor.
