Longport Public Library has announced the following activities during the month of November.
In the Gallery: Monica Nask Art Exhibit
Down the Shore is a collection of works that capturing the spirit of the New Jersey coastline. The paintings are a diary of the artist's time at the beach through all four seasons. This exhibit is only viewable during library hours during the months of November and December.
Take Home Craft for Kids
Stop by Longport Public Library each Wednesdays and Saturdays for a take home craft, including doorhangers, bracelets and more. Most crafts include all materials required. Ages 3-8, adult assistance may be required for some crafts. Call 609-487-7403.
Open Gaming
Join friends to play mah-jongg, scrabble, canasta or pinochle 10 a.m. every Tuesday and 2 p.m. every Saturday. Masks are required. Call 609-487-7403.
Virtual Author Event
Join Alka Joshi, author of The Henna Artist, for a discussion of The Secret Keeper of Jaipur 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1. Family-Friendly Bingo
Friends and family of all ages are invited to participate in Family-Friendly Bingo 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. Multiple rounds with different patterns, and at least one winner in each round.
