Provided/Playwright Tom Chin coaches his granddaughter, 11-year old Sydney Koz Chin of Ocean City on creating the character of Darling, while veteran actor Dayle Friedman of Margate, who will play Mommy, enjoys the tender moment.

MARGATE - South Jersey Players, Inc. will present Park Plays in a tent at the Margate City Public Library, 8100 Atlantic Ave. Five short one-act plays and five 1-minute teasers will be performed at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6-7.

Local actors will skillfully bring these plays by local playwrights to life with direction by Tom Chin, Heidi Mae, Marlene May, Sam Sardina and Edward Shakespeare. Robert Meunier of Hi-Vibe Audio Productions will provide sound design, while Christopher Chiong, a Chartertech High School graduate, will light the show.

Reservations requested. Call 347-920-6399.

Should weather prevent the show, a spring rain date will be scheduled.
