  • Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY Hundreds of runners and walkers will gather on the Boardwalk in front of Stockton University's beachfront campus 9 a.m. Sunday, April 10 to participate for the first time in three years in the Seashore Gardens Living Center's Dementia and Alzheimer's 5K Run and Health Walk.

Funds raised through the event benefit dementia and Alzheimer's programs and outreach services at Seashore Gardens Living Center, an independent nonprofit home for the aged in Galloway Township. Seashore Gardens originated in Atlantic City before it built a modern facility on Jimmy Leeds Road more than a decade ago.

Health reporter Robin Stoloff will serve as mistrees of ceremonies, and special guests include Miss Atlantic County Brooke Feldman, Miss Cape Shores Molly Pugliese, and Eddie Davis in the Morning.

Awards will be presented after the race in various categories. A continental breakfast will be served at Stockton after the race.

Free parking will be available 7 a.m. to noon at the university's parking garage at 3601 Boardwalk.
