MAYS LANDING - William E. Will Reynolds was sworn-in for a five-year term as Atlantic County Prosecutor Tuesday, a day after the NJ Senate unanimously confirmed his appointment as Atlantic County's top cop. Assignment Judge Michael Blee presided over the ceremony, with Reynold's 12-year-old sons, George and Robert holding the Bible.
Reynolds, who formerly served as Ventnor solicitor and as municipal prosecutor in numerous Atlantic County communities, has been serving as Acting Prosecutor since the beginning of June after NJ Gov. Phil Murphy nominated him for the post.
NJ Sen. Vincent Polistina (R-2) advocated for his appointment, calling him the right pick for the job.
Erik Bergman is sworn-in as First Assistant Prosecutor.
