Santa opened the holiday shopping season in Margate Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021.
The Margate City Fire Department has announced it will provide Santa Claus with an escort around town starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Santa's tour will start at Firehouse No. 2 on Brunswick Drive. A fire truck will pull Santa through city streets in a Beach Patrol surf boat.
Residents are advised to listen for the sirens and welcome Santa to the neighborhood.
