Margate FMBA Local 41 presented scholarships to nine Margate students, Thursday, July 7, 2022. Several recipients were unable to attend the presentation.
MARGATE The Margate FMBA Local 41 presented its annual O'Hara-McCormick Memorial Scholarships at the Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday, July 7. The recipients were selected based on academic excellence and character, presenting Firefighter Danyl Loyle said.
Each of the scholars received $400 to use for college.
The scholarships were awarded based on the students' hard work and dedication to their school and community.
The 2022 O'Hara-McCormick scholars are: Rob Fishbein, Olivia Scherbin, Megan Fox, Stephen Seligsohn, Blaise Valentino, John Alice, Isabella Zanghi, Gavin Horn and Davis Campbell.
