Longport American Legion Post 469 held its annual installation of officers June 7. It also announced it would distribute the Longport Telephone Directory to 1,750 homes by the end of June and would hold its annual Wounded Warrior Week program in September.

Other elected officers not present, are Sargeant at Arms Frank D'Alonzo and Chaplain John R. Murphy. The officers will serve in these roles for one year starting July 1.
