It's Pride Week in Atlantic County.
It's Pride Week for the LGBTQIA+ community, with events being held June 15-26 in Atlantic City, Ventnor and Egg Harbor City.
Here's the lineup of activities:
June 15
Flag Raising (city) 3-4:30 p.m.
Mixer at Ryfe (Be Visible), Atlantic Avenue. 6-9 p.m.
June 16
Drag Queens and Beauty Queens a reading at Hayday Coffee 3-4 p.m. (Pride coffee drink special). Hayda Coffee on New York Avenue. Learn about the amazing history of LGBTQIA+ AC through the lens of drag and female pageantry.
June 17
AC is Burning - Ballroom (AC P) Ballroom competition open to all. $15 online and $20 at the door. Featuring 5 categories (Voguing, Playboy Bunny, Female Face, Butch Queen Face, Best dressed). Trophies and cash prizes. Competition is OPEN TO ALL. Doors open at 8 p.m., competition begins at 10 p.m. Featuring DJ Nick, and an infamous crew of MC and judges. June 18
Rainbow Ride (ACP) Starts at Newport Beach on the Boardwalk in Ventnor at 11am. This bike parade is being organized by Jean Antollini, so contact jean with any questions. Wear your colors, decorate your shoes, generally CAMP it up.
Rainbow Beach dedication (ACP) At Park Place and the Boardwalk at 11:30 a.m. Come celebrate the rededication of this historically welcoming beach!
NY Ave. Plaque dedication (ACP) At the Boardwalk and New York Avenue, come celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community then and now as we unveil this historical marker on the wall of the old Chez Paree! 12 p.m.
Rainbow Ride Celebration- outside Hard Rock Casino the RAINBOW Sponsor of PRIDE! 12:30 p.m.
Saucy Saturdays -Pride Edition (Rhythm & Spirits) This is a party event with DJ Skyline and strippers and drag artists. Begins at 8 p.m.
Hard Rock Pride Beach Party- Join us at the beach bar at Hard Rock for a celebration of our visibility after the NYA plaque dedication.
June 19
Leather & Lace Tea Dance (ACP) 3-6 p.m. come to this afternoon dance party with Joey the Hat, and our leather and lace model to serve you! Wear leather, lace, or maybe you swing both ways!
Sunday Dinner w/Jenna Tall (Rhythm & Spirits) Following the event, join your hostess Jenna Tall for this always offensive night of drag entertainment. Sunday dinner features a homestyle gourmet Italian Meal.
June 20-24

June 21
Brittany Lynn's Pride Cabaret (Resorts) at Resorts Casino, Debut new show at Resorts 5-8 p.m., Main Bar (downstairs).
June 22
Closing Pride Celebration Nucky's (ACP) at Nucky's at the Ventnor Square Theater on Ventnor Avenue. 3 p.m., featuring live entertainment and happy hour prices all night!
June 23
Drag Queen Story Time w/Brittany Lynn (ACP)- join Brit for this story time featuring the best of inclusive literary education. Fun and informative for kids of all ages.
