MARGATE Fool Moon Theater will present several performances of the musical classic Godspell July 22-31 at the Margate Community Church, 8900 Ventnor Ave. The musical is based upon the Gospel according to St. Matthew.
With music and lyrics by three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz, audiences will be delighted with memorable songs, such as Day by Day, All for the Best, and All Good Gifts. The musical is based on the book written by playwright John-Michal Tebelak.
Godspell' will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, July 22, 23, 29 and 30, and 2 p.m. Sundays, July 24 and 31.
Tickets are $35, $30 for seniors and $25 for children under 12 on Eventbright; and at the door by check or cash only. Seating is limited.
