VENTNOR - Due to the weather forecast for Mother's Day weekend, the Block Party scheduled for tomorrow, May 7, is officially canceled. According to Ventnor Special Events, it is simply unsafe to hold this event with the impending high winds and soaking rain.
Vendors will be invited to join the Halloween Fest 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 22 at Newport Avenue and the beach. Plans are still in the works, but the Halloween Fest will include a parade, live music, costumes, and lots of fall fun.
Next up are the Ventnor City Summer Beach Jam and the Sunset at Ski Beach concert series. Craft vendors can download the application at www.ventnorcity.org/special-events.
