ATLANTIC CITY - High school sophomores are invited to attend the Stockton University School of Business Summer Entrepreneurship and Business Academy, a residential summer camp designed to give current high school sophomores a taste of college life as well as a chance to learn the basics of business ethics, teamwork and free enterprise.

There is no cost to attend the in-person program at the Stockton Atlantic City campus.  This year's academy will be held from July 17-23.

To be eligible, students must have no less than a B average and be a high school sophomore during the 2021-2022 school year. Students also need to have a strong interest in business, computer information systems, computer science and hospitality. Participants live on the Atlantic City campus during the program.

Participants will be assigned to business teams and create partnerships to develop proposed new business ventures. They will develop business plans with their new partners and present those plans in a competition.

The competition will be judged by advisory board members, faculty and executives from the business community. The first place team will receive $500, the second place team will receive $300, and third place will receive $200.

The deadline for applications is June 17 and proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
