For anyone looking for more options and lower health insurance premiums, Get Covered New Jersey will open enrollment for the health insurance marketplace starting Tuesday, Nov. 1.
According to state officials, new federal funding means that no one will pay more than 8.5% of their income for health insurance purchased through Get Covered New Jersey. Nine out of 10 residents who enroll will qualify for finance assistance with their health insurance premiums.
Open enrollment period runs through Jan. 31, 2023. For coverage to start on Jan. 1, 2023, residents must enroll before Dec. 31. Those who enroll after Dec. 31, will have their coverage start on Feb. 1, 2023.
