The Ocean City Tabernacle welcomes Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne's Pretzels, to speak at the 8:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Born and raised in the Amish-Mennonite community of Lancaster County, Pa., Anne grew up surrounded by faith and family. During these years, important life lessons were permanently weaved into the fabric of her life.
Following the loss of a child, facing a struggling marriage and hiding the trauma of abuse by a trusted leader, Anne found hope and reconciliation through confession and faith in Jesus, according to a Tabernacle news release.
With a new-found purpose of helping others, she founded Auntie Anne's Pretzel's to fund a local counseling ministry. More than three decades later, Auntie Anne's is the world's largest pretzel franchise, and Anne continues to tell her story, inspiring business leaders, entrepreneurs and everyday people to find and fulfill a purpose bigger than themselves, the release said.
