MARGATE The Board of Education Wednesday, Sept. 14 elected a new vice president to replace Tracy Santoro, who died unexpectedly in early July.
Longtime board member Joel Frankel recieved the sole nomination to replace Santoro and he was elected unanimously.

It also agreed to allow music teacher Debbie Roland to direct this year's musical performance, with practices starting in October and performances held Jan. 12-13, 2023. Roland said she will determine which musical would be best for the talent among students at the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School.
