VENTNOR The city will hold its third annual Mangia, Mangia Sunday supper 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 under a tent at The Red Room Café, 141 N. Dorset Ave. Seating begins at 1 p.m. Raindate is Oct. 1.
The event includes a four-course supper prepared by the real Italian chefs of The Red Room. Guests will enjoy appetizers, pasta and meatballs, salad and dessert. It's a BYOB event.
Italian classic songs will be presented by fan favorite entertainer Vic Rubino. Along with dancing in the street, participants can expect song to break out when he sings That's Amore.
Billed as an opportunity for the community to come together family style at the Sunday table following the long, hot summer, the event is organized by City Commissioner Maria Mento and restaurant owner Maria Gatta.
Tickets are likely to sell out quickly like they did last year. Tickets are $40 per person, $20 for children under 12. Tickets must be purchased in advance on Ventnor.recdesk.com.
