Cindy Henry
SOMERS POINT - Shore Medical Center has announced that Shore Physicians Group Surgical Scheduler and Coordinator Cindy Henry of Egg Harbor Township has been named its December Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional patient care. Shore established the Guardian Angel program to enable community members to say 'thank you' to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center in their honor.
Henry was hired with Shore Physicians Group in 2018, bringing with her a strong background in surgical scheduling for both urology and orthopedic offices in the past. Her supervisor Darlene Wingate and Surgical Division Manager Zeika Gomez both agree Henry is a reliable team player whose kindness and compassion is greatly valued.
Cindy employs her many years of scheduling experience to communicate effectively with our patients when informing them of scheduled medical procedures, appointments and when giving them pre-surgery instructions, Wingate said.
"Cindy diligently coordinates with the doctors and other healthcare professionals involved to gather the documentation required for scheduling procedures at Shore Medical Center. She also assists with scheduling for other specialties as needed," Gomez said.
A patient who appreciates Henry's efforts recently made a Guardian Angel donation to the medical center in her honor and had this to say about her:
Cindy without fail is pleasant, kind, extremely knowledgeable and beyond efficient. Her caring and thorough demeanor makes us feel very comfortable and confident when she's handling our Urology scheduling needs. She is a perfect face for Shore Physicians Group.
Shore Medical Center's Guardian Angel program provides an opportunity for patients and families to recognize anyone at Shore who makes a difference in their care or experience. Guardian Angels are recognized among their peers and presented with a Guardian Angel pin at Shore's annual pinning ceremony.
