Join Village Film Enthusiast and Historic Cinematic Buff Tom Celandine and Village Community Specialist Tina Serota for a discussion about the movie, It's a Wonderful Life, starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Nominated for five Academy Awards, this supernatural drama about a man who has given up on his personal dreams and has thoughts of suicide bring an intervention from his guardian angel who shows him all of the lives he would have touched and what the world would be like if he did not exist. Village Holiday Social, Thursday, Dec. 14, 4-6 p.m.
Guests will enjoy an early evening holiday get together while spending time with friends and neighbors. Dance to seasonal music performed live by the band, Even Betta, and enjoy refreshments and a chance to win door prizes. The festivities take place in the Katz JCC Auditorium, 501 N. Jerome Ave. in Margate. This event is free for Holocaust survivors, Village members, and JCC members. For non-members, the cost is $5 payable before Dec. 6.

Experience the thrill of capturing your life's adventures, history, and ancestry with the Memoir Workshop led by award-winning author and Drexel University Director of Certificate Program in Writing and Publishing Harriet Levin Millan.
