MARGATE The NFI and the Brown Family Fore Charity Golf Tournament, benefitting Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties and the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center, tees off Thursday, May 18 at Harbor Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township. A must-attend community event, JFS and JCC partner to raise funds for essential programs and services.
Golfers will be able to participate in the competition style tournament with morning and afternoon tee times. In addition, golfers can look forward to fun contests, including longest drive and closest to the pin, food and beverage stations along the course, lavish cocktail party with open bar, and awards presentation. There's something for everyone, including seasoned golfers and novice players.
Individual golfer fee is $250 and includes greens fees, golf cart, food, and beverages. Registration for the morning round begins at 7 a.m. with a grab and go breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Registration for the afternoon round begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Sponsorship opportunities for individuals and corporations range from $300 to $5,000, and include a multitude of golfing and marketing packages.
The need for assistance in the community from individuals and families continues to rise, and supporting the tournament will help both agencies provide programs and services to those who need help.
For those unable to participate in the tournament, an online auction provides a chance to bid on golf outings, restaurant certificates, gift baskets, fun experiences and more.
