Alexa Petillo of Galloway Township is Shore Medical Center's Employee of the Month for January 2023.
SOMERS POINT - For consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying Shore Medical Center's Mission, Vision and Values, Shore announces that Human Resources Assistant Alexa Petillo of Galloway Township has been named the medical center's January 2023 Employee of the Month.
Petillo joined the HR Department in September 2021 and quickly became an essential member of the team. She provides exceptional customer service and care to those who need her assistance, and always asks her colleagues what else she can do to help. She quickly took on the important role of administering the media's extensive e-learning platform for employee training and development.
Employment and Compensation ManagerBill DeJesus said he has received a great deal of positive feedback about Petillo from those she helps.
I have been on the medical staff of Shore Medical Center for over 30 years, and Alexa has been one of the most helpful, pleasant and professional employees that I have encountered," one physician said.
Petillo has a bright future in Human Resources, according to DeJesus, who shared that she is currently enrolled in a course to become a certified Human Resources Professional recognized by the Society for Human Resources Management.
She has a hunger for knowledge and never turns down a new task or learning opportunity; she is a true sponge of information," DeJesus said.
