VENTNOR The North Beach Residents Association is hosting a night out 8 p.m. Saturday, March 11 at Ventnor Coffee, 108 N. Dorset Ave.
An Evening of Song features local performing artists Minnie Kalan and Bob Starner. Kalan is ia mezzo-soprano who tours the tri-state area as a cabaret performer. She currently resides in Pennsylvania but is originally from Ventnor. Starner plays acoustic rock, and the music of his youth, including songs by Simon and Garfunkle, Jim Croce, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen and the Beatles. He is a recent resident of Ventnor.
The event is free for members of the North Beach Residents Association, and $10 for non-members. Proceeds benefit the association.
