VENTNOR - The Ventnor Pickleball Association presented the city with six benches and 12 memorial plaques Saturday, June 10. It also awarded $10,000 to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Mayor Lance Landgraf addressed the group gathered for the presentation.
The funds used to purchase the benches came from the association's tournaments held in 2022 and 2023. The group selected CHOP as its charity benefactor during those tournaments.
Each person who donated a plaque spoke briefly about the person they memorialized.
