First Assistant NJ Attorney General Lynsday V. Ruotolo
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and Stockton University have
announced two upcoming events that will incorporate multiple perspectives and aim to educate students and the public about issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.
On Tuesday, March 7, the Prosecutor's Office will host A Dialogue About Bias and Hate. The event will be held 4:30-6 p.m. in the Campus Center Event Room at Stockton University's main campus in Galloway Township. Leadership from the Anti-Defamation League, Prosecutor's Office and Stockton will discuss trending issues in hate speech and bias crimes. A question and answer period with students follows.
Then on March 8, the focus switches to a symposium on Women in Public Safety. The symposium will be held 9 a.m. to noon. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The symposium, also being held in the Event Room, commemorates International Women's Day and features female panelists from law enforcement and public safety positions at local, county, state and federal levels. Information will be provided for prospective employees. The State of New Jersey's highest ranking woman in law enforcement, First Assistant NJ Attorney General Lynsday V. Ruotolo, will provide the keynote address at 12:15 p.m.
