Margate announces plans for annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Margate Mothers Association and the Margate City Fire Department have finalized their plans for this year's Easter Egg Hunt for children.

The event will be held starting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, with the egg hunt beginning at 2 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, April 2. Bring your own basket to collect some of the 2,000 eggs placed on the lawn outside Margate Firehouse No. 2, 405 Brunswick Dr.

The egg hunt will be broken into four age groups: 0-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9 and over.

The event includes food and fun, a flower market, prizes for all ages and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
