PLEASANTVILLE - The Atlantic County Animal Shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs and cats adopted from the shelter Friday through Monday, May 26-29.
All adopted pets receive mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and a free veterinary consultation. Adopted dogs also receive free obedience classes.
Normal adoption fees are $110 for dogs and $85 for cats.
Those interested in taking advantage of this opportunity should call the shelter to make an appointment at 609-485-2345.
The shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville and is open to the public by appointment 1-4 p.m. seven days a week.
