EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP - The Atlantic County Utilities Authority has announced that it is taking a day off for employees to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families.
There will be no collections on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23.
In Atlantic County, collections regularly scheduled for Thursday will be performed on Friday, and collections regularly scheduled for Friday will be performed on Saturday.
In Ventnor, Thursday and Friday collections will be performed on Friday.
There are no scheduled yard waste collections on Saturday, Nov. 25 in Northfield or Linwood.
The ACUA Environmental Park will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
The transfer station, composting facility and landfill will be open normal hours, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24. The GEO building will be closed.
