Commissioner of Public Safety Cathy Horn swear-in Chris Bradley as a full-time police officer.
MARGATE - The Board of Commissioners swore-in a full-time police officer during a special meeting held Monday, Oct. 2.
Commissioner of Public Safety Cathy Horn administered the oath of office to Christopher Bradley, son of former longtime firefighter Chris Bradley.
Bradley, a lifelong resident of Margate and a graduate of Mainland High School, was first hired nine months ago as a special Class 2 officer, graduated the Police Academy, served during the summer months, and will backfill a vacancy created by retirement.
"There's a lot of changes going on in the Police Department," Police Chief Matthew Hankinson said. "And a lot of new faces."
