New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, in partnership with the New Jersey Wind Works Coalition, is hosting a virtual screening of the film, "Winds of Change," a thought provoking documentary that delves into the potential impact and benefits of offshore wind farms in New Jersey. The screening will be offered 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, followed by a question and answer discussion with panelists, Capt. Paul Eidman, New Jersey LCV Campaigns Manager Sunni Vargas, Dr. Pankaj Lal of Montclair State University and Dr. Peter Straub of Stockton University.

The panelists are featured in the documentary for their expertise on various issues pertaining to offshore wind development. The documentary aims to bridge the communication divide between developers and local communities, shedding light on the transformative power of renewable
energy.

The film was produced by Montclair State University graduate student Kino Vera, in partnership with NJEDA Offshore Wind Institute. The Wind Institute is working to coordinate and galvanize
cross-organizational workforce development, education, research and innovation efforts to support New Jersey's goal of generating 11,000 megawatts of offshore wind by 2040.
