Longport Veterans Day service 2022.
Longport American Legion Post #469 will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Thomas B. Reed Park, 27th & Oberon avenues.
This brief but meaningful ceremony will include the installation of several engraved pavers in the memorial walkway at the park, honoring specific veterans.
The American Legion and Auxiliary will also present wreaths at the Memorial Monument in honor of all veterans, past and present. Rifle salutes will be rendered.
Immediately following the 20-minute ceremony, all attendees will be invited to a social gathering with food and beverages hosted by the Longport Public Library at Borough Hall.
