VENTNOR – Mayor Tim Kriebel, who serves as Commissioner of Public Safety and Public Affairs, administered the oath of office Thursday, Aug. 15 for three new police recruits.
Dominic Cappella III, Patrick Quinn and Anthony Rivera were hired as full-time officers. They started training at the Cape May County Police Academy on Monday and are expected to graduate and take their new positions by Jan. 10, 2025, Ventnor Police Chief Joseph Fussner said.
Cappella, who lives in Northfield, is the son of a former Ventnor police officer. Quinn lives in Longport where he worked as a Class I Special Officer. He also served as a dispatcher for Egg Harbor Township Police Communication. Rivera resides in Manahawkin.
