Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds welcomes a new crop of law enforcement interns.
Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds recently welcomed law enforcement interns for the 2024 Spring Semester.
The ACPO College Internship Program provides students majoring in criminal justice, criminology, law and justice, forensics, or other related studies an opportunity to engage with ACPO Personnel in a law enforcement environment. The ACPO is in partnership with Stockton
University and Rowan University to coordinate this exciting opportunity. This semester, nine students will be enrolled in the program.
The student internship program lasts approximately 15 weeks and the students complete 150 hours of service. The student interns will have the opportunity to work with the Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Crime Scene Unit, Special Victims Unit, Intelligence Unit, Litigation Unit, and the Community Outreach Program to enhance their educational foundations. These assignments will present the interns with invaluable real-world experiences in the law enforcement field. The internship program also gives the participating students a chance to network with ACPO and other law enforcement personnel to forge relationships which may help guide them in their future careers.
In today's competitive workforce, finding a job without experience can be a real challenge and an internship is a good way to boost employability and gain real experience," ACPO Internship Program Coordinator Sgt. Jason Kangas said.
