'Be Well Connected' breakfast focuses on gut health

LINWOOD - Shore Physicians Group will host a free breakfast on gut health in continuation of its Be Well Connected community education series. The breakfast will take place 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29 at Linwood Country Club, 500 Shore Road,

The event will feature presentations by three esteemed Shore Physicians Group experts and a buffet breakfast.

Speakers include:


  • Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator Tiffany Rios, RD, CDE, of Shore Physicians Group's Endocrinology Division, who will talk about the impact of diet and nutrition on gut health.

  • Family Medicine Physician Ahmed Nashat, MD, with Shore Physicians Group's Somers Point practice, will talk about gut health conditions and treatment options.

  • Shore Physicians Group Ambulatory Care Pharmacist Scott Warren, PharmD, will talk about medications and supplements that can impact your gut health.

The breakfast meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to engage with the speakers and ask questions during Q&A sessions after each presentation. Guests will also have the chance to network and interact with fellow attendees, fostering a supportive and educational environment.
