Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City welcomes two new board members

Terricita E. Sass, Ph.D.

ATLANTIC CITY - The Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City is pleased to announce the addition of Terricita E. Sass and Rita Mack to its board of directors. Sass is executive vice president and chief of staff at Stockton University. Mack is an entrepreneur and community advocate.

We are thrilled to welcome Terricita and Rita to our board, Boys and Girls Club CEO Dr. Charles A Wallace II said. Their diverse experiences and unwavering commitment to community service will undoubtedly contribute to the success of our organization and the well-being of the youth we serve.

Sass brings more than 30 years of higher education experience to the board. As an Aspen Presidential Fellow and an AASCU Millennial Leadership Institute Protégé, she is well-versed in educational leadership. Her commitment to community and education aligns seamlessly with the values of the Boys & Girls Club. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Capella University, a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs from Norfolk State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Francis Marion University.

Entrepreneur Rita Mack

Mack brings a wealth of experience as a McDonald's franchisee since 1986. Having served as chair and CEO of the National Black McDonald's Owners Association, she has demonstrated outstanding leadership in her commitment to community involvement. A Diamond life member of the NAACP, Mack is a community advocate, passionately supporting organizations that promote children, education, the advancement of women, and services to the less fortunate. Her dedication to giving back through scholarships, community projects, and supporting minority youth aligns perfectly with the Boys and Girls Club's mission.

The Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City is a nonprofit organization that has been providing a safe and nurturing environment for the youth of Atlantic City for more than 50 years. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens through a wide range of programs that focus on education, leadership, health, arts, and more, helping children and teenagers build essential life skills and develop into well-rounded individuals.
